There are many ways you can receive support and advice across East Sussex. This can be through Peer Supporters, at groups, clinics and other Children Centre lead groups or from the people, mentioned below.
Health Visitors
Support, information and advice is available from Health Visitors and Community Nursery Nurses including visiting you at home if necessary. Their contact details can be found in your babies red book.
Peer Supporters
A group of local mothers who have had their own experience breastfeeding their own children who provide support, friendship and are able to share useful information. They are not health professionals but are trained and supervised by the NHS Peer Support Co-ordinators.
Local Breast Feeding Counsellors
Need to talk to someone about your breast feeding and not able to get to a support group then you can phone one of our local NCT Breast Feeding Counsellors
