Vitamin K

Immediately after birth you will have the opportunity for your baby to have an injection of vitamin K which reduces the risk of a bleeding disorder.

An additional leaflet is available and you can talk to your midwife or doctor about this. Again it is helpful if you think about this option before you go into labour.
