Youth Volunteering (18 to 25 years)

Come and Volunteer with us and join #OurMarvellousTeams

Come and join #OurMarvellousTeams and be part of our oganisation where we combine community and hospital services to provide safe, compassionate, and high quality care to improve the health and wellbeing of the people of East Sussex.

We are on an exciting journey, increasing the opportunities we have for young people (18 to 25 years old) to volunteer with us. This could be at one of our acute hospitals, Conquest Hospital or Eastbourne DGH, or in our community hospital at Bexhill or with our community teams who work across East Sussex, in Battle, Bexhill, Crowborough, Hailsham, Heathfield, Lewes, Newhaven, Seaford, Uckfield and Rye.

Why volunteer with us?

  • Be a part of a team
  • Build and develop your skills for employment opportunities
  • Increase confidence
  • Better understand the NHS and our services and how hospitals work
  • To gain experience for a future career
  • Go on to access further education, training and employment
  • Give something back to your local community
  • Have fun
  • Meet new people
  • Or any number of other reasons… we want to hear from you!
