Healthcare Assistants play a key role in the organisation, working on wards and in clinics to support doctors and nurses to deliver the highest quality patient care.

Monica Green, Director of Human Resources, said: “Our success in recruiting Healthcare Assistants follows a change in the recruitment process so that rather than recruiting for specific posts, we undertake a generic recruitment process, interview candidates and then match applicants to the posts available.

“We have also held open days in the last six months, giving those who might be interested in the role an opportunity to meet staff, find out more and ask any questions they may have.

“The Trust is keen to hear from anyone who is caring and compassionate and enjoys working as a healthcare assistant in a team. We also have opportunities for carers looking for more flexible hours, working through our staff bank.”
