Window dedicated in memory of colleagues

A specially made stained glass window has been dedicated to the memory of colleagues who have sadly passed away. The window which is on level 2 at Conquest Hospital, opposite the Chapel, was unveiled by our Director of Nursing, Alice Webster, at an emotional ceremony recently.

Alice said: “The idea originated from a very difficult period experienced by the Trust when we sadly lost a number of colleagues, in a short period of time with whom we had been working with and we wanted to be able to remember them. The window is intended to be a point of connection for us all to remember all of our colleagues who are no longer with us.” There are plans to look to enhance areas already dedicated to staff that have passed away, at all our sites.
The window was designed and created by Anthony Wynne of Venus Glass Art.
