Simon Badcott said: “I am delighted to be the new Chief Pharmacist and am thoroughly looking forward to the challenges this role will bring. I am passionate about patient care and quality. I will work with our enthusiastic and committed pharmacy team to ensure the highest standards are met for our patients across the trust and within pharmacy itself.”

The Chief Pharmacist role involves leading a large team of highly-skilled pharmacists, technicians and assistants, ensuring that everyone involved in handling medicine is supported. The aim of the pharmacy team is to deliver a quality patient-centred service where ‘the right patient receives the right medicine at the right time’.

Simon has previously been Head of Pharmacy at Tunbridge Wells Hospital overseeing the transfer from the old Kent and Sussex Hospital to the new Tunbridge Wells Hospital.
