Rosy has developed the garden to provide an inspirational, quiet and interactive space within one of the courtyard areas at the hospital. The area is used to provide Occupational Therapy to patients and is also used by staff and visitors. It is particularly valued by the staff of Pevensey and Folkington Wards who have donated money for the provision of plants and equipment.

Chairman David Clayton-Smith presented Rosy with her award and praised her for her efforts whilst looking around the garden.

Caroline Lees, Professional Lead Occupational Therapy who nominated Rosy said: “Rosy has created the garden in her own time and is inspirational in the use of horticultural activity for the benefit of our patients, visitors and staff. Thank you Rosy for your vision and making it a reality for our Trust”.
