Eastbourne and Willingdon MP, Stephen Lloyd said: “It was absolutely fascinating to visit the Jubilee Eye Suite at the DGH and meet all the dedicated team. And a full-on team they are, often doing upwards of 15 eye operations a day, six days a week. Having had cataracts myself over thirty years ago, it was astonishing to see how far the discipline has advanced. I was privileged to see the fantastic work the team do in the ward and at our brilliant DGH.”

Dr Adrian Bull, Chief Executive ESHT said: “We are delighted to welcome local MP Stephen Lloyd into the hospital to see at first hand various departments over the coming months. The Jubilee Eye Suite team are dedicated and committed to providing high quality care with virtually all their patients recommending the service they receive in our Friends and Family Test.”
