The Emergency Department (ED) team at Eastbourne raised over £5,000 for St Wilfred’s Hospice and Macmillan at their Park Run last Saturday (11th November).

Over 480 staff, friends and family, wearing specially printed t-shirts, took part in support of three of their ED colleagues who have recently been diagnosed with cancer.
Becci Holdaway, a Sister in the Emergency Department, who organised the event said: “The response from the whole team was phenomenal – it was bigger and better than we ever imagined. We even had our colleagues from Conquest come over to provide cover in their time off so that Eastbourne ED staff could take part. Thank you to everyone who took part – it was a very special day.”
