Two members of staff from the Trust, Xanthe Knowles – Deputy Head of Nursing for Medicine, and Lisa Ireland – Senior Specialist nurse in Paediatric Audiology, have been invited to a reception for frontline nurses, at Buckingham Palace in the presence of HRH The Prince of Wales.

Lisa Ireland Senior Specialist nurse in Paediatric Audiology said: “I am thrilled to be invited to Buckingham Palace. It was a massive surprise to see an envelope on my doormat with a Buckingham Palace crest and the Queen’s postmark on it.”
Xanthe Knowles Deputy Head of Nursing for Medicine said: “What an honour to be invited to such a prestigious event. I was totally surprised but really looking forward to it.”
Nurses from across the UK have been invited to this reception at Buckingham Palace hosted by the Prince of Wales in March.
