The Acute Admissions Unit provides a high quality rapid assessment service for patients with acute medical and surgical problems. Whilst on the unit patients receive an assessment and investigations to see if they need to be admitted to hospital.

Acute Admissions Unit Sister Elizabeth Grant said: “It is great the refurbishment work is now complete. The new layout and better use of space in our newly refurbished unit has helped to make our hardworking, committed team even more productive. With the new wipe down surfaces it is a lot easier to clean. All in all this refurbishment work has helped to boost morale on our busy unit.”
