Lydia Judge-Kronis, Mortuary Manager who also nominated him said: “Robert is always enthusiastic, kind and helpful. Even when under pressure nothing is too much trouble. Despite being in a different department he always ensures the mortuary team are ok and helps when necessary. Recently he agreed to trial a new process which has helped speed up release of the deceased from the mortuary helping minimise unnecessary delays for families. This has also relieved pressure on the team as they can manage other activities more efficiently.

“Robert has been proactive in improving communication with bereaved mothers keeping them informed of what is happening if they have chosen for further examinations for their baby. Robert is always going the extra mile with families and I feel deserves recognition for his commitment to the role and his continual demonstration of Trust values.”
