Over 50 cardiac rehabilitation patients, along with friends and family, joined Consultant Cardiologist, Professor Nikhil Patel, British Heart Foundation volunteers, and the Cardiac Rehabilitation Team from Eastbourne DGH, for a sponsored walk along Eastbourne seafront.

Phillippa Acton, Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist Sister said: It was a beautiful Sunday morning and a great turn out for our sponsored walk along Eastbourne seafront. There was a two mile or six mile route which was lovely for some, and personally challenging for others. So far over £2,200 has been raised which will be split fifty, fifty between the Rehabilitation Team at Eastbourne DGH, and the British Heart Foundation. Thank you to everyone who took part, and their sponsors, for their wonderful support.”
