Members of the public are being asked to show their recognition for a team or individual member of staff at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust by nominating those who have provided outstanding care to themselves, a close friend or relative, for a People’s Choice Award.
The People’s Choice Award gives patients and the public the chance to say ‘thank you’ and publicly recognise members of staff who have provided exceptional care and treatment. The award will be presented that the Trust’s Annual award ceremony in July and nominations close on 31st March 2019.
Nominations can be made on-line at the Trust’s website – www.esht.nhs.uk/peopleschoice or nomination forms are available around Trust sites.
Dr Adrian Bull, Chief Executive of East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, said: “From the number of thank you letters, cards and emails we receive we know that many of our patients are very happy with the care they’ve received and want members of staff to be recognised for this in some way.
“Anyone who works for the Trust can be nominated for the People’s Choice Award, so if you or someone you’re close to has recently used our services and been particularly impressed by the care given by an individual or team, then please do nominate them. I know it will give our staff a tremendous boost to know that their work is appreciated and is being recognised in this way.”
