The Eastbourne Prostate Cancer Support Organisation (PCaSO) have donated a Urine Analyser and a Molift Raiser to the Urology Investigation Suite at Eastbourne DGH.
The Urine Analyser is used to perform automatic urine testing and can detect and quantify a number protein, glucose and red blood cells in urine. The Molift Raiser is used to safely move patients from a sitting to standing position, while maintaining the best possible ergonomic moving and handling conditions for the healthcare worker.
Matron Susan Crosby-Jones, Urology Investigation Suite said: “We are very grateful for the donation of this equipment by our local Prostate Cancer Support group. They will be of enormous benefit to our patients.”
Tom Chapman from Eastbourne PCaSO said: “It was great to see, at first hand, the money raised from our charity golf day in support of prostate cancer is making a real difference to Urology Investigation Suite.”
