Sue Elliot, Amanda Selby, Soraya Shah and Julie Sheppard from Conquest Hospital and Donna Jessup from Eastbourne DGH, who are members of the Outpatients reception team, have won an Employee of the month award for their support to the department.

Raechell Woods, Reception Manager, who nominated members of the team said: “The Outpatient reception team has had staff shortages since January, along with long term staff sickness, which has caused extra pressures on the department operationally. During this time, all have had additional tasks to complete on a daily basis. It is evident they care passionately about our patients and have gone above and beyond their roles and embraced all challenges. I am so proud of their commitment, the team work they have demonstrated and their conscious efforts to complete the extra work – well done.”
The Team was presented with their awards by Trust Chairman, Steve Phoenix.
