Healthcare Assistant, Janice Saunders, who works on De Cham Ward at Conquest Hospital, has won an Employee of the Month Award in recognition of her fundraising for the ward.

Su Sparkes, Ward Matron for De Cham Ward, who nominated Janice said: “Janice has gone above and beyond her duty to commence fund raising on De Cham ward towards a bladder scanner. Janice has spent many hours preparing a beautiful Easter raffle trolley, selling tickets and encouraging other staff to engage in fund raising, already planning a larger Christmas raffle. The long term aim is to purchase a bladder scanner for the ward, seeking financial assistance from the Friends of Conquest Hospital. Janice has already raised £200 with assistance of her colleagues.”
Janice was also nominated by ward colleagues Natasha O’Leary and Rommal Alba who praised her for her fundraising and on how very caring, compassionate, professional and truly dedicated she is.
