The trollies, each costing around £5,000, will be used in the Operating Theatres and Day Surgery Unit at Eastbourne DGH.

Claire Evans, Specialist Theatre Practitioner said: “We are very grateful to the Friends of Eastbourne Hospital for this generous donation of three Paediatric Airway Trollies. They will ensure the hospital now has both adult and paediatric trollies containing all the equipment we could require in an emergency.”

Harry Walmsley, Chairman of The Friends of Eastbourne Hospital said: “As a former Consultant Anaesthetist I know these trollies will prove invaluable to the teams in theatres and day surgery. As always, we the Friends, are extremely grateful to the generosity of local people who through their donations and fundraising make donations of equipment, such as this, possible.”
