The Mayor of Polegate, Councillor David Watts and Deputy Mayor of Polegate, Councillor Margaret Piper visited Eastbourne DGH to tour the hospital and meet staff.

They met with ESHT Chairman, Steve Phoenix and saw at first hand the new wayfinding signage around the hospital. They also visited staff in the Cardiology department as well as learning about the diagnostic capabilities of the hospital’s new CT Scanners.
Mayor of Polegate, Councillor David Watts said: “The Deputy Mayor and I visited our local hospital to see at first hand some of the new innovations. We were impressed at the improvements to the signage and wayfinding guides that are being rolled out. We were impressed with the thought and preparation that has been put into the new wayfinding signage around the hospital. Using colour coded zones will make it easier for patients using the hospital to find the departments and wards they require. We also visited the Cardiology and CT departments to speak to staff and see some of their recent improvements to patient care.”
