Consultant Cardiologist, Professor Nikhil Patel has been elected Chair of the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) Academic Board, with his term of office starting on 1st October for three years.

It is a great opportunity for me to support the Royal Society of Medicine to advance health, through education and innovation, as a leading provider of high-quality continuing postgraduate education and learning to the medical profession.”
The Chairman of the RSM Academic Board is a Trustee of the Society and oversees the network of 50 medical specialty sections.
