Tom Banner, Infusion Unit Charge Nurse said: “These chairs were very much needed and the feedback from patients has been unanimously positive, adding comfort to their treatments which can last up to six hours. These recliner chairs have dramatically improved the experience for our deserving patients and helped brightened up the unit. We would like to thank the Friends for this very generous donation. Anything that can make the experience a little better for our patients is gratefully received.”

Bill Hamilton, Chairman of The Friends of Conquest Hospital said: “The Friends of Conquest Hospital are delighted to be able to donate these chairs to the McCartney unit. My thanks, and that of the Friends of Conquest Hospital, is to all those local people who make buying equipment like this possible through their generous donations to the Friends.
