Battle Rotary Club have donated two televisions and audio headsets to the Judy Beard Day Unit at Conquest Hospital, as a thank you for the outstanding care and support they give day patients including several of their members close relatives and friends.

Bill Juby, President, Battle Rotary Club said: “Treatment can take several hours and the provision of these televisions may make this time just a little less stressful for both patients and their visitors. All too often the NHS receives negative criticism, but the support, dedication and care given by all the staff at the Judy Beard Day Unit has been superb.”
Hayley Bird, Judy Beard Day Unit Matron said: “On behalf of our patients we are extremely grateful to the generosity of Battle Rotary Club. Our patients are enjoying watching these televisions while they are having their treatment and find the distraction beneficial.”
