Elizabeth Jordan, Assistant Quality Manager at Eastbourne DGH has won an Employee of the Month Award for her support and guidance to seven Hospital Sterilisation and Decontamination Unit (HSDU) apprentices.

Terry McCormick, Quality Manager who nominated Elizabeth said: “Seven HSDU technicians have completed their apprenticeships for decontamination. Elizabeth has supported, guided and driven these members of staff all the way through their apprenticeship right up to their assessment. Using all four of the Trusts values, her dedication and commitment in supporting staff throughout the process was second to none. She deserves recognition for her hard work as this was done in addition to her normal role as an Assistant Quality Manager.”
