Urology Investigation Suite Matron, Susan Crosby-Jones said: “We are so grateful to Eastbourne Prostate Cancer Support Group for donating this chair. It helps give our patients a less clinical experience during their post prostate biopsy recovery period.”

Debbie Hatfield from Eastbourne Prostate Cancer Support Group said: “Tom and Elaine Chapman generously donated £1,200 to the Eastbourne Prostate Cancer Support Group. The money was raised at the STAGS (Staying Alive Golf Society) third annual golf event held in May 2019 at Willingdon Golf Club when £4,200 was collected for prostate cancer charities. The Eastbourne donation has been used to purchase a recliner chair in the newly refurbished Urology Investigations Suite at Eastbourne DGH.

“The Eastbourne support group is part of the Prostate Cancer Support Organisation which has six support groups in Sussex. There are also groups in Dorset and Hampshire. More details can be found on the PCaSO Eastbourne website at www.pcasoeastbourne.org.uk
