Time to make your nominations in the People’s Choice Award

Members of the public are being asked to show their recognition for a team or an individual member of staff at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust who they think should be recognised for the outstanding care they have given to themselves, a close friend or relative by nominating them for a People’s Choice Award.

This award gives patients and the public the chance to say ‘thank you’ and publicly recognise members of staff who have provided exceptional care and treatment.

Nominations can be made on-line by clicking here – or nomination forms are available around Trust sites.

The People’s Choice Award will be presented at the Trust’s Annual Pride of ESHT Awards event in June and nominations need to be made by 31st March 2020.

Dr Adrian Bull, Chief Executive of East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, said: “From the number of thank you letters, cards and emails we receive we know that many of our patients are very happy with the care they’ve received and want the staff to be recognised for this in some way.

“Anyone who works for the Trust can be nominated for the People’s Choice Award, so if you or someone you’re close to has recently used our services and been particularly impressed by the care given by an individual or team, then please do nominate them. I know it will give our members of staff a tremendous boost to know that their work is appreciated and is being recognised in this way.”
