Paul Cloves, Clinical Service Manager said: “We are delighted to be in our new department offering our patients a more open and welcoming environment. With Covid still circulating in the local community we continue to operate a red and green department to ensure we provide safe care for our patients. To help keep everyone safe we would ask that patients attend the department on their own except for those accompanying minors. This is really important as it helps to maintain social distancing in the waiting area which in turn helps to keep both patients and staff safe.”

People with urgent medical problems are encouraged to contact NHS 111. They can offer medical advice over the phone, advise someone if they need to go to a Emergency Department, or whether there is another more appropriate local service that they can access.
