Dr Umesh Dashora appointed honorary clinical professor

Dr Umesh Dashora who is a consultant in Endocrinology and Diabetes at the trust and year 5 BSMS regional lead and Personal Tutor at Brighton, has been awarded the title of Honorary Clinical Professor by the Academic Board of Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS).

Professor Umesh Dashora has made a significant contribution to medical training since joining the trust in 2006. This appointment as an honorary clinical professor accentuates his commitment to developing medical education into the future.

Speaking about his appointment, Professor Dashora said: “It is a great honour to be offered this appointment. I am delighted to represent the trust at Brighton and Sussex Medical School helping to strengthen our medical education profile. I hope it will encourage colleagues to take more significant roles in the medical schools that we serve. Colleagues with academic titles will hopefully attract more applicants for our vacancies at all levels.”
