Hannah, who works in our Urgent Community Response service has won our Hero of the Month award.
Hannah was nominated after she attended a care call where the patient had collapsed and were no longer breathing. Hannah immediately called 999 and began CPR which she continued until the ambulance arrived.
As a new support worker this was a very brave and heroic effort, she followed her training and stuck with the resuscitation attempts until the ambulance crew arrived and went on and completed the care call, supporting the patient and their family before leaving the visit.
Her team feel Hannah went above and beyond in her work during that visit and truly deserving of a hero of the month award, which was presented by trust Chairman Steve Phoenix, earlier this month.
