Following our recent signing of the Armed Forces covenant, we are pleased to announce that we have received the Bronze Award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme.
The award, which recognises the recent work we have done to put in place support for veterans and reservists who work for our organisation, is an important milestone in our work to become a fully veteran aware organisation that supports our Armed Forces communities. This award also means that all NHS trusts in the south east of England have now received an award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme, only the third region in England to do so.
We are committed to further supporting our Armed Forces, and we are currently working towards gaining the Silver level award in the scheme.
