More than 50 volunteers attended during the two-hour session including two of the much-loved ‘Pets as Therapy’ dog team, Lilah and Jax.

Along with a buffet and refreshments, a raffle was held with prizes kindly donated by local community businesses wanting to show their own appreciation for the time and commitment Trust volunteers provide in local hospitals. Our volunteers are a remarkable team of people who deserve our thanks not just during this national week of recognition but each time they come in to support throughout the year. With such kindness and the enthusiasm volunteers bring to their role, patient care is supported admirably.
