Healthwatch focus group asks for paediatric experiences in East Sussex

Healthwatch East Sussex are holding a paediatric focus group and are looking for children aged 8 to 11 and their parents and guardians to give their experiences of paediatric care within East Sussex.

The main aim of the group is to hear from young people directly, since this age group who often can’t give feedback in the ways that are typically collect it.

The group will use arts-based methods to discuss experiences, and the aim is to also capture parent/guardian feedback so they can understand if there are any differences between the feedback from adults and children.

The session is being held on Wednesday 9 April at 2pm, at the Hastings Centre, The Ridge, Hastings, TN34 2SA.

Healthwatch are an independent body who gather the views of health and social care services in the county and make sure these are fed back to the people in charge. Regardless of whether you have had a good or bad experience, your views are crucial to shaping the way changes can be made to services in East Sussex.
