Robert Tricker, Deputy Service Manager – Bereavement and Medical Examiner and Chair of the LGBTQIA+ network said: “Attending Hastings Pride alongside colleagues from Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust was an absolute joy! The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, filled with colour, music and a strong sense of community.

“It was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate diversity and show support for the LGBTQIA+ colleagues and patients. Pride events are essential as they promote inclusion, raise awareness and remind us of all the value of equality in our personal and professional lives.”

Jenny Darwood, Director of People added: “Being able to go to an event like Pride to support and be an ally to LGBTQIA+ colleagues is so important, not only for members of the senior management team but for all staff. Our trust values are Kindness, Integrity and Inclusivity and we want all colleagues to feel they can be themselves, to feel safe in their work environment and have support available to them, if needed. Pride is such a joyful event to attend, and I had a great time with the team this year.”
