On Monday 24 November we proudly celebrated with East Sussex College the first cohort of Clinical Management Trainees as they graduated with their NCFE Team leading qualification.

It was a fantastic event and truly inspiring to watch each learner received their certificate. East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is incredibly proud to be working in partnership with East Sussex College who delivered this management programme. We look forward to continuing our work to with the college to develop and deliver further courses in line with the anticipated NHS Management/Leadership Framework.
Steve Aumayer, Deputy CEO and Chief People Officer for the Trust, who presented their certificates, said: “It’s a real pleasure to take part in the celebration and significant milestone in this cohorts professional journey. Completing this qualification was no small feat. We know that they have balanced this course alongside busy work schedules and the everyday demands of life. That takes resilience, discipline, and determination. At the trust, we’re committed to supporting leadership at every level. Whether you’re leading a team now or preparing to take that step in the future, we want to ensure you have the tools, the confidence, and the opportunities to grow. That’s why we’re excited about the direction of leadership development nationally, including the new NHS Leadership Framework, which will help shape how we support and develop leaders across the system. Our Partnership with the East Sussex College will assist us in achieving this.”
