The water leak reported in Hastings earlier today (Wednesday 24 December) has not affected the care that we provide either at Conquest Hospital or in the community.
The trust is in regular close contact with Southern Water, and has a number of contingency plans in place to ensure that adequate water is supplied to our services and care is not disrupted while repairs are completed.
While all patients, visitors and staff are asked to use water sensibly while on site as a matter of course, all of our services are operating as usual.
