We are pleased to share that Professor Scarlett McNally, consultant orthopaedic surgeon with the trust since 2002, has been named in the New Years honours list.

Professor McNally will receive an OBE for services to Medicine, Surgery and the NHS.
On the honour, she said: “I am extremely proud to receive this honour for my work. I have been a consultant at the trust since 2002, having previously been a registrar here. I have been able to pursue areas I am deeply passionate about on a national level, while the trust has remained a vital and valued base. East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is doing great work and is a model for supportive team-working – which has been incredibly important to me.”
Jayne Black, Chief Executive of East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust said: “We are all extremely proud of the work Professor McNally does, both with the trust and more widely. She is a credit to the organisation, and her body of work speaks for itself. On behalf of the trust, I would like to say a huge congratulations to Scarlett on this amazing achievement.”
