Jan began her NHS career as a cadet nurse and has demonstrated exceptional commitment throughout her career.

She was appointed as the first Dermatology Specialist Nurse at Conquest Hospital in 2002. Prior to this, she worked as an enrolled nurse at Bexhill, later progressing to Sister, and then Lead Nurse in Outpatients at Conquest Hospital following her RGN conversion.

In addition to her clinical roles, Jan has been a valued supporter of colleagues, serving as an RCN representative, steward, and JSC Staff Side Chair. Her expertise, leadership, and advocacy have greatly benefited both patients and staff alike.

Jan will be greatly missed by all who have had the pleasure of working with her. We thank her for her remarkable contribution and wish her a long, happy, and well deserved retirement. We are sure she will enjoy spending more time with friends, and catching up with her much loved Michael Ball!
