The Radiology Team at Conquest Hospital recently had the pleasure of welcoming a very special visitor – Mabel the Labradoodle, accompanied by Trevor from Pets as Therapy.
During her visit, Mabel spent time meeting staff throughout the department, spreading smiles and providing a welcome boost to the team. Colleagues enjoyed the opportunity to take a few moments away from their busy day to interact with Mabel, whose friendly nature helped create a calm and positive atmosphere.
Visits from therapy animals can have a significant impact on staff wellbeing, helping to reduce stress, improve morale, and encourage positive interactions among colleagues. Mabel’s visit was greatly appreciated by everyone she met and served as a wonderful reminder of the importance of taking time to support our wellbeing at work.
