Patients at the Bexhill Irvine Unit (BIU) swapped traditional rehabilitation activities for a touch of Centre Court magic as they took part in the “WimBIUdon Championships” – a fun-filled seated tennis tournament inspired by Wimbledon.
The event brought patients together for a series of friendly matches using adapted equipment, creating an atmosphere of competition, encouragement and plenty of laughter. Designed to promote movement and engagement, the tournament gave participants the opportunity to build confidence, improve mobility and enjoy being active alongside their fellow patients.
