Following discussion and a health assessment, you have chosen to use one of the above methods for your contraception. Traditionally, these methods would be used for 21 days followed by a 7 day break. During this break, you would have had a ‘period’ type bleed. Some women like to have a bleed every month but it isn’t necessary, the choice is yours.
