Proximal Radius Fracture (undisplaced)

You have sustained a fracture to one of the bones in your elbow (Coronoid Process). Please see the picture below to understand where this injury is. This normally takes approximately 6 – 8 weeks to unite (heal).
You have sustained a soft tissue injury (sprain) to your elbow. This normally takes up to 6 weeks to heal.
You have sustained a dislocation to your elbow (plus an associated fracture if mentioned on dictation). You will have been placed in a temporary backslab (plaster) in A&E and given a sling.
