Mr Kashif Qureshi

Profile

Mr Qureshi has a specialist interest in dealing with diseases of the retina but also manages general ophthalmic conditions, and performs cataract surgery, laser to the anterior and posterior segment, including laser to the retina and vitreous and intravitreal therapeutic procedures.

Mr Qureshi’s sub-specialist area are retinal disorders in particular macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, retinal vascular disease and inflammatory eye disease. Mr Qureshi has undertaken two speciality fellowships in retinal disease at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital.

Mr Qureshi is involved in a number of national committees, which implement standards for all ophthalmologists. In particular, he is a member of the Revalidation Subcommittee and was previously the revalidation fellow at the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. He also is a member of the Quality Standards committee of the college and has co-authored publications pertaining to these areas. He is also a member of the British Medical Association and a fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologist of United Kingdom and is on the specialist register with the General Medical Council.
