Mr Keast-Butler’s medical training commenced in 1991 at Manchester University Medical School. Whilst at University, he was made a Senate Committee Representative and Vice President of the Medical Student Society.

Following his graduation in 1996, he worked as a Senior House Officer and Specialist Registrar in the Guy’s and St Thomas’ rotation, gaining a diverse range of experience in lower and upper limb orthopaedic surgery.

He was awarded the Fred Heatley research medal for most original paper in 2005.

Mr Keast-Butler completed his fellowship year in Denver, Colorado and Toronto, Canada where he honed his interests, particularly in the field of primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty, computer navigated surgery and trauma surgery.
