Profile

Mr Kashani has a special interest in retinal disorders, in particular macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, retinal vascular occlusions and inflammatory eye disease. He has extensive experience in managing general ophthalmic pathology, having trained at various teaching and district general hospitals in London. The latter years of his training were spent at the world renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital where he also completed sub-specialty fellowship training in retinal disorders.

Mr Kashani has an active interest in ophthalmic research with over 40 peer reviewed publications and over 25 national and international presentations. He graduated from St Georges Hospital Medical School in London in 1998. After completing pre registration house jobs, he completed a two year Medical rotation achieving the prestigious membership status of the Royal College of Physicians. He is also a fellow of the Royal college of Ophthalmologist of United Kingdom and is on the specialist register with the General Medical Council. Mr Kashani is a member of the European Society of Retinal Specialists and attends national and international meetings regularly to keep his professional development with the latest technology in his field.
