East Sussex out of hours dental helpline

There is also an East Sussex Out of Hours Dental Helpline. You can access the central helpline through calling either:

01323 449170 or 01424 850792

Opens 6.30pm and 10.30pm on weekday evenings and between 9am and 5.30pm on weekends and Bank Holidays

The helpline can provide advice, self-help, signposting and following triage around clinical urgency booking of limited appointments.

All appointments must be made through the triage helpline prior to attendance as access is controlled. Please note any call of an abusive nature will not be tolerated and will be terminated.

Urgent treatment options may be limited, and some treatment may be of a temporary nature to manage an acute problem. Therefore, further dental care may be required from a daytime dentist.

When NHS patient charges apply, payment may be taken remotely at the appointment booking stage. Most credit and debit cards are accepted. Patients who are exempt from dental charges will need to bring proof of exemption with them.

Helpline users are asked to respect staff as they are trying to help.
