Intermediate care rehabilitation services are provided at the Irvine Unit at Bexhill Hospital and Rye, Winchelsea and District Memorial Hospital.

Irvine Unit

The Irvine Unit is an intermediate care service serving the local population and offers both Stroke rehabilitation and generic inpatient facilities.

Rye, Winchelsea and District Memorial Hospital

The medical wing at Rye, Winchelsea and District Memorial Hospital is a 15 bedded, nurse lead intermediate care unit. The patients are under the care of the general medical practitioners from the two Rye doctors surgeries.
