Booking your blood test when being treated at the Pevensey day unit

Having your bloods taken at the times specified before your planned treatment is extremely important, as treatment cannot be given without clinical review of your blood’s prior to treatment.

All patients who require a blood test will need this to be taken before 12 noon, 48 hours before your treatment. Please pre-book your appointment for blood to be taken with our Phlebotomy team – booking information is available here.

Please also see the tables below to check when your blood will need to be taken. Separate advice will be given around Bank Holidays.

  • Should you not be able to bring this form to us, you will be required to be contactable via a telephone 48 hours before your treatment between the hours of 1-6pm.
  • If there are any concerns raised on this assessment form, you will also be required to be contactable via a telephone 48 hours before your treatment between the hours of 1-6pm.
