Kipling ward at Conquest Hospital has been inundated with donated Christmas presents for the children, thanks to various groups, clubs and organisations, who have donated over 400 presents for children of different ages, to be given out to patients and their siblings over Christmas.
Kipling ward Matron, Rachel Brook said: “Everyone has been so generous. We are overwhelmed at the number of presents donated to us. These presents will help bring a smile and some cheer to those children unfortunate enough to be in hospital over the Christmas period. Our thanks go to The Priory Meadow Shopping Centre, Hastings United Football Club, East Sussex Fire and Rescue, Eastbourne Bikers, Polegate Dancers, Blackbrooks, Terri’s PJ Appeal, Bluewater Shopping Centre and everyone else who has kindly donated gifts and for their kind generosity.”
