The Irvine Unit at Bexhill Hospital offers intermediate care and rehabilitation. The unit specialises in short stay multi-disciplinary inpatient rehabilitation and nursing care for people suffering from a range of conditions including:
- Stroke
- Orthopaedic
- Amputee
- Complex neurology
- Care of the elderly rehabilitation
We also provide step up beds as required for patients in our community settings. We accept patients aged 16 and over who are registered with a General Practitioner (GP) in our catchment area. Referrals from out of area will be considered on a case by case basis.
