Visiting restrictions - essential visitors only

To help us keep our patients, staff and visitors safe, stop the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19) and keep our hospitals running, we are restricting visiting to essential visitors only – click here for more information

Booked appointments with us

We would like to offer assurance that it remains safe for patients to attend our hospitals as normal, unless advised otherwise. If you have a scheduled appointment and have not been advised to self isolate by NHS 111, please attend as normal.

Please consider whether it is absolutely necessary to bring friends or family members with you.

Outpatient appointments

We would very much encourage you to attend your Outpatient appointment in order for you to receive the specialist input you require.

Please consider whether it is absolutely necessary to bring friends or family members with you.

Planned surgery and appointments

As part of our response to the Coronavirus, we are afraid that some operations and/or appointments will need to be rescheduled to allow staff to focus on those who need urgent care. If your operation or appointment has been cancelled we will contact you. If we haven’t contacted you, please come in as usual.

If you have symptoms of a high temperature or a new, continuous cough, please contact us to reschedule your appointment.

Cancelling appointments

If you are self-isolating and have an Outpatients appointment at one of our hospitals, please visit our Cancel or reschedule your outpatient appointment page for information on how to cancel your appointment.

If you need to cancel a Day Case or Inpatient procedure, please contact the Admissions Team directly. The contact details can be found on the letter you have received with your operation date.
