Once your outpatient appointment has been booked with us you will receive a letter with an appointment date and details about the type of appointment, for example, the appointment could mean you need a face-to-face appointment and to attend the hospital, or it could be a telephone appointment or a video appointment.
If your appointment is face-to-face and involves a hospital attendance, your letter will tell you where to go, and when to arrive.
Please read all of the letters that you receive from us carefully and ensure that you attend any additional appointments that you may receive. This may include any tests prior to your appointment (for example a blood test). Please attend any face-to-face consultation appointments alone if you can.
